Meet Catalyst Terry Ostrowiak

Terry also measures and evaluates Organizational Culture and Values, then coaches executives and management for Sustainable Quantum Leap Results.

Terry Ostrowiak's career in coaching, training and personal development spans over 40 years and includes experience in over 26 countries.

A featured speaker at international conferences, Terry has shared the platform with Earl Nightingale, one of the world's foremost experts on "success", and Og Mandino, the renowned motivational speaker and leading author on "success" with sales of more than 30 million books.

San Diego 1998 – 2005 Creator and Founder of SuperCatalyst.com – an alliance of select professionals designed to "Create Quantum Leap Results in Organizations"

He served on the San Diego Board of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association; was a Resource Speaker/Coach for TEC (The Executives Committee) on “Understanding Cultural Diversity for International Expansion”.

He continues his activities as a Catalyst to business professionals, world-wide, serving companies such as ABN AMRO Bank, IBM and The European Space Agency.

1998 Relocated to San Diego from The Netherlands while still maintaining international business connections.

Netherlands 1987 - 1998, Terry, based in The Netherlands, organized and conducted Coaching Programs and Practical workshops for international companies in Europe such as: KPMG, KLM (Royal Dutch Airlines), Shell, AKZO NOBEL, ABN AMRO Bank, ING Bank, DSM, L'Oreal, EDS, IBM and The European Space Agency.

Initiated "Keys to a Booming Career" Workshops for 400 Business and Law students in Utrecht in The Netherlands

Conducted workshops for high-potential Managers on the BOSNO Project for companies such as DSM, Heidemij, ABN AMRO Bank, Ballast Nedam, Ahold, Digital Equipment and The Netherlands Police.

Initiated AIESEC Training 2000. With his team, he coached over 1300 Senior Business Students at Erasmus, Twente, Amsterdam, Maastricht, Wageningen, Tilburg, Utrecht, Groningen, Neijmegen Universities and The Haarlem Business School to develop personal skills for entry into business.

1987-1994 Operated as a Business Coach to Dale Carnegie management teams in Europe, USA, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, Cyprus, South Africa and Israel. Conducted International Training Conferences for Dale Carnegie & Associates in over eight countries for all Programs offered by the organization, for certification of instructors.

South Africa 1975-1987, Terry ran one of the most successful independent Dale Carnegie® licensed operations in the world from his, base in Johannesburg, South Africa. He received the much-coveted "International President's Cup" three times for excellence in generating and conducting quality business.

In 1979, with sponsorship from Caterpillar in Johannesburg, Terry pioneered the first "Youth Leadership Program" which trained mixed race and white high school students in communications, human relations and personal development to introduce them to the world of business. For most students it was the first time ever that they had interacted with other racial groups on an equal level. The Program ran for twelve years.

  • Terry, married for 42 years, has two daughters, two granddaughters and a grandson.
  • He was a First League and tournament tennis player in South Africa for many years and also played league squash. Later when he moved to The Netherlands he also played league tennis and squash and was champion of his club.
  • In 1998, when he moved to San Diego he started to play golf and this is now his major past-time.
